I didn’t plan on having more than one child and I was lucky enough to get a little surprise. They are almost 2 years apart, just like my sister and me. She is my best friend and they remind me so much of us. They are so sweet to each other (most of the time).Continue reading “Friendship- Iheartfaces Challenge”
Stella was so smiley but the photo I like the most is her serious face, looking at me like I have interrupted a private moment between her and her best friend. She is so cute, I love those cheeks and her big beautiful eyes (not to mention those eyelashes).

The I heart faces challenge this month is Best Face of 2013. I chose this as my favorite because I love Iris’ expression and the fact that her little sister is always close by. They are wearing matching dresses, having a fun day at my Aunt’s cottage. This is what summer is all about!
I was pretty happy to get a photo with 3 out of 4 kids smiling. Every time Iris smiled the rest of the kids didn’t and vice versa. A quick head swap in photoshop and I have a decent photo of my kids and step-kids.
Steve is an old man, he doesn’t get too excited about anything…except water from the hose. He had more fun playing in this sprinkler than the kids did!
I wanted to take some pics of the kids on a sled hill near my house. They didn’t exactly follow my orders…this one was my favorite.
